Questions for New Grads..
I have a few questions for all the new grads out there.. How long did it take you to actually find a job (for those who have one)? What did you do to get in, meaning, did you know someone or did you just fill out application after application? I have applied repeatedly to the same hospitals and keep getting the infamous "thank you but we are looking at other candidates" over and over and over. So do I just keep applying to the same hospitals and just hope that I will one day get an interview? Do you really have to know someone in the nursing field to be able to get in anywhere? Any thoughts, ideas or suggestions would be appreciated as I'm feeling a little down about the whole situation .

New Grad Residency Program
Yeah I know, I got the news today as well. I just saw something about the RN residency program at Abrazo but I'm not sure if it's only for ASU graduates. I'm going to give them a call tomorrow to see what's up. I can't believe they got that many applicants.

The more I study the more I realize how much I still don't know!!
Oh my gosh, I totally feel the same way. I graduated in February and have been studying ever since. I have my test scheduled for the 28th but totally feel unprepared. At times I feel ready, but most of the time I feel scared out of my mind. The stress is really getting to me. I have already rescheduled once before because of the self-doubt and I'm considering rescheduling again, but then I think, will I ever feel prepared? I am glad I'm not alone.

Confused about NCLEX process.
Actually, you do not have to have your fingerprints cleared in order to take the test. I am scheduled to take my test next week and my fingerprints have not cleared (had to redo them). Unfortunately, you will not get your license until your prints have cleared.
