Yes CCP has a very good program...they've been a Center of Excellance for awhile. Even people who are not local are trying to get in which makes it that much more competitive. As far as the AHT exam, it's easy basic stuff...but it's all about speed. ...

You don't need ENG 101 & 102 to apply--though you will take them during the program. My recommendation is to take whatever you can now--it will lessen your load later. Good luck.

Prncesslaur--they would/provisionally accept you. I was accepted to "pre-achieve" last year until I finished my prereqs--which I decided to stay and take at CCP b/c it was cheaper. I'd say go for it--it's worth a shot. :)

Almost everyone does...so I would just plan on getting one. I graduated from high school in 1999 and not only did I have to produce high school transcripts but one school even made me order my (ancient) SAT score report!

Thanks for your responses. I used to belong to a credit union but am no longer active (it was actually my dad's credit union for his job so I was signed up too)...I wish I was though... Wells Fargo has a "Education Connection Loan" that is disbursed ...
