blondi brings up good points. I was just relaying my experiences. I was trying to get into all of those places that she mentioned (Gtown, WHC) and I could not get in. I couldn't even get into WHC's...

I recently landed a new grad position at a community hospital in D.C. and it took a while. (I'm from out of state) Before graduating, try to get some experience in school in the area that you want to...
Everett is a great program. Something like 99% of grads pass the NCLEX licensing exam on the first try. It's tough, and they throw a lot at you. Drop me an email if you'd like more info on the...
Hi - a shout out to any RN's that work at Sibley... how is there? Do you enjoy working there? Any idea of starting salary for a new grad nurse? I'm starved for information on the hospital, and I'd...

Hi - just pinging the waters to see if anyone out there works at Sibley. If they do, I'm very interested in knowing more about the hospital, since I don't see much about it. Is it a good place to...
I haven't even been able to get into their Dream Day program. It's been most frustrating. I would like very much to work at WHC, but I have had no luck with that so far. Where will you be
Are there any current GUH employees out there? I was looking for your thoughts on what it's like to work at GUH. Any things that stand out at GUH - what makes this hospital different/better/more...
Thank you for quick and thorough response to my post. I am already looking into WHC and GWUH. I'm just trying to get a feel for other hospitals that stand out in the D.C. area. Thanks for the input....
yeah, I was rejected immediately. it is NOT because of (not having taken) the NCLEX yet. It's because you must have a minimum number of nurse tech/pct hours. Good
