    an abg should have been done along with full panel of labs upon her entering the ICU-based on this it probably showed acidosis, as to which she was compensating for until she finally completely pooped...

    AIDS, sarcoidosis, CA, leukemia--sounds like more than one diagnosis will be confirmed though. definitely MODS. very well could have an undiagnosed pre-existing condition before the sepsis set in....
