I feel the exact same way!

I've been told that one difference in people who have taken Kaplan & either passed or failed NCLEX was that the people who failed only used tutorial mode. My instructor wants us to use the timed mode...

I heard that Kaplan's Q's are 3x harder than NCLEX Q's so it really prepares you for the exam. I think the goal of the Q banks & Q trainers are to get >65%.

They are high level Q's. Some other alternate Q's are the drag & drop....& I can't think of the other's...lol. I think anything other than the standard multiple choice Q's.

I heard if you're doing really well, you'll begin to get the SATA & other alternate Q's.

First night is always the hardest....it will get easier to stay awake!

I understand if you work 12 hours, you get the base pay for the first 8 hours & time & a half for the last 4 hours....but what about the shift differential? Say your night shift differential is $5....is it $5 for the whole 12 hours or is it...

Wow....this is all pretty confusing...lol. The paperwork I have states: "I will be paid 8 hours at straight time and 4 hours at time and one-half of my rate." It doesn't say how the differential is calculated in...

The director of the hospital I just got hired for advised that I will in fact be getting my base pay for the first 8 hrs & time & a half for the next 4 hours. I just checked my paperwork & it does say that. Thanks!

I would recommend you brush up on the types of patients you will see (the unit you're applying for). They will likely give you scenarios about their patient population. Do a little research on the hospital & be prepared to ask questions at the e...

I don't know either.....what I did was go to the hospital & drop off the thank you letter in person (to the unit clerk). I put it in an envelope & addressed it - everything except putting a stamp on it.

No test date yet but I plan on taking it late June or early July.
