    Over here I am told if the mom was in distress...even if the baby had a great apgar...one night in the NICU was warrented. *shrug Precaution and some such. Not unheard of.

    That's how I feel too. The weeding out occurs when the students can't keep up with the others. No traps...no tricks......just those who can't keep up or don't want to for whatever reason....

    Not here. Yet :) Our instructors like to help the students succeed. The course lign up like putting two ANPs in the same semester might suggest this..... but the proffs are aware of the difficult...
