Pensacola Area RN Pay/Benefits
Thank you so much for that information! Do you like the area? We are flying down there the last weekend of the month and looking around. Are the health benefits expensive? Any areas to stay clear of? I really appreciate your help!

Pensacola Area RN Pay/Benefits
Hi all!! I am getting close to relocating to this area and would like to know about the nursing environment in that area. I have 16 years of Nursing experience in Women's Health (OB/GYN and Mother Baby) with 10 years as Asst Nurse Manager. I also have my MSN degree in Nursing Leadership & Management. What's the average pay in that area and how are the benefits at local hospitals. I am moving from San Diego, CA so I know the pay is way less...But I know the cost of living is less. Thanks for any information!! Also, are there nurse unions in this area and staffing ratios? Thanks! Pamela

RN Network in California?
I worked for RN Network in S. California and I enjoyed every minute of it..I had a GREAT recruiter that made sure everything was right. He was always very easy to get in touch with. I would highly recommend this company. If you would like his name let me know.Good Luck!!Pamela

Travel Assignment to Cali
You can have multiple companies looking for you but the key is not to have two companies submit to the same hospital. If the hospital sees your name twice they will assume you are trying to get the "best deal". I have several companies searching for me a position at one time but only allow one company to submit me to each hospital.

kaiser anyone?
I worked at Kaiser Woodland Hills and loved it. I know they tend to float travelers first but I didnt mind that. The staff was very friendly. I am looking at returning to California in January and work with Kaiser again but this time in San Diego (love the area!) Good Luck! Pamela

fastaff agency
I work with RN Network and they were great. I was a staff nurse in Mississippi and I went to California for the Summer (13wks). My family came along with me and the company was more than happy to work with me to make everyone comfortable. My recruiter was the BEST!! If you need anymore info just message me! Pamela
