Not in my area (Iowa). ADN's are wanted and needed. There is no pay difference for bedside BSN.

If they have lost 6 RN's in the past month, they may be desperate to keep you and may very well let you go PRN with out problem. Good luck & Best wishes with your baby!

The above may be the case in most programs, however I do not currently have any degree over an ADN. I graduated in 2007, all 92 of my ADN credits transfered to my choice of a "reputable University", (Graceland) so I only have 28 credits to go for...

Just chiming in to subscribe to this thread. I just applied to : Jacksonville University, South University, Liberty University, and University of Wyoming .

One thing to consider is, some Masters programs will require you to already have your Bachelors before acceptance. Personally, I am going the RN-BSN route first.

The program is approximately 2yrs in length. (Depends on how many credits transfer et how many classes to take per term). I shall know in a few weeks as I just sent my transcripts... Congrats to you too!
