    we usually do a case by case... but under 3 months old gets brought back RIGHT away.. no waiting in the lobby for newborns with fevers.
  2. 8:1 ratios in the ER???

    We only have 3-4 patients at most in our ER, but if we have an ICU or an acute patient, the charge nurse will help out till we get that patient to the floor.

    On all of our Acute MI patients, we usually run NTG with Saline and Heparin....If ordered that is. They are compatible.
