    Warning potential nursing students

This does sound typical. I had classes from 8 until 4 or 5 five times a week until clinical started. Then it dropped to 8-4:30ish twice a week with 6-8 hour clinical days on Tuesday and Wednesday....

    Sitting in during the NCLEX

I don't know if that will be allowed, not just because it will be irritating to those testing around you, but because everything you say and do will be recorded during the exam. They may think you're...

    conference questions

From what I remember about these questions they were: A nurse is teaching staff about some sort of disease/process etc. The nurse would be sure to include which of the following instructions during...

    conference questions

I passed. I'm still in a state of shock a week after I got my results, but yes, you can pass with 90% of your questions like this. :) I don't know whether they would be considered 'difficult'...

    I can't Do It anymore!!:-(

I felt that way too before I took the NCLEX. I was getting everything wrong on almost all the practice exams. It's anxiety that you're feeling right now. You'll keep getting questions wrong because...

    conference questions

I know!! What was that all about? Hahaha. About 90% of my exam was conference and priority. I think it's all in line with teaching. If you can't teach the nurses the correct information how are they...

    Not Feeling Prepared Ever...

I tossed and turned the night before the exam. I probably got 4 hours of sleep total. I never felt entirely prepared, but I knew I had to take the exam eventually so I just went in and took it. Take a...

    SATA Questions: How to answer?

I agree with everything said above. I covered each option with my white board and went down the line. If something was true I clicked it. If not, I didn't. If I wasn't sure I skipped it and then went...

What can I do to study for A&P 1&2?

I wouldn't study anything before the class begins. Take your break while you have it because when class begins you'll only have time to study. I don't know if you have to take a Human A&P lab...

New Grad, not yet licensed with interview. HELP!

I was offered a position before I took boards. It happens and like she said above, I think they know you just graduated. I wasn't even asked questions about nursing experience during my interview...

    HESI vs NCLEX

I passed HESI exit with a 980 and passed NCLEX with 76 questions. I have to say that NCLEX was harder because sometimes there weren't two obviously wrong answers. All of them seemed right so you...

Any Hotspot Questions On Your Test??

Nope, I didn't have any hot spot questions. I also didn't study these types of questions because, like they said above, you don't really know what they are going to

    Should I buy LaCharity

I studied LaCharity and I have to say it helped. I got A LOT of prioritization questions on the NCLEX. It was on the book list for senior year so I had to buy it. I'm glad I did

    Summer Pharmacology Class

I struggled in pharm too. What helped me was flash cards and repetition. Also relating the medication to an actual patient helps. I learned that I remembered medications in clinical and exams more...
