ok..will try to keep this short. CRNA school is hard. Mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially. If it is what you want to do, do it! If you are just bored or looking for something to do, think twice. I would suggest before you make a decision either way, to investigate the field. Shadow CRNA's and really see what they do, you will need this for your application and interview anyways.
But, yes it's definitely doable. I am also living in Florida and had my first day of CRNA school on Monday. And trust me, it's not a cake walk. But, I love the field and am willing to sacrifice whatever I need to achieve it. The financing is much harder to get than it used to be, but money is there. Some hospitals and anesthesia groups can also help pay for school, but of course at a price to you. IF anyone chooses this route, I would just reccomend really investigating the contract.
Good luck...it can be a hard road, but worth it in the end.
