Really! I know for sure that the nursing program is expensive and very disorganized.However, I find it hard to believe that HPU NCLEX pass rate is very low......Because I do remember that my graduating class had at least 90% pass rate (Dec 07)....and...

well am not sure if they will or not...u will need to call IL BON to find out.....because my state Board (HI) did fill out the CT form when i applied a yr ago to IL.

Have u tried st francis,kapiolani,kaiser,castle,kahi mohala,hawaiian state hosp...u need to get in touch with all the hospital ...u never know.

well what i will advice is for u to apply to other places like canada/ireland for the meantime....and if later the opportunity opens for US then u can come to US..but waiting for visa to be open to enter US or to be on a student visa to me is a long ...

well it depends on where you work...the salary ranges from $10 to $13/ hr for a new CNA...hospitals do pay more bcos of the shift differential while home care don't.......however, home care are more flexible bcos u can do whatever hrs u want , while ...

well I graduated from hawaii too..last dec 07...and applied to IL state for my license...did my NCLEX-RN here chicago and passed...so its easy just fill out the application form, notify your nursing school to send your transcript, using the ED-form, ...

well i got my IL state license after 6 weeks of turning in my application by endorsement ....well it is easy to apply for any us state license. you just need to download the application by examination form and mail the form to IL state board of nursi...

you are not allowed to take anything into the test room except ur ID..but you will be provided with an online calculator and a erasable writing pad and pen to write or do ur calculations...so u don't hav to worry. :nuke:

i was wondering how long does it take to receive the IL temporary license?

well i did the MOSBY reveiw book including the 1500 questions MOSBY CD...I also attened the Martins review class here in chicago... and did the Q1 to Q5 kaplan questions.

well i did kaplan and my scores ranged from 53 to 60...but i used the review book by mosby and did only 1000 questions that came with mosby NCLEX review textbook....and went ahead to take my test last wk and passed.....so i really think your scores o...

Just hang in there it is very possible that you will pass with 265....i passed with 265 just last wk...i know how u feel right now bcos i felt the same way last wk...it was as if my whole world crashed when i worked out the testing center after 5hrs ...

Congtulations!!!!!!!!! amd true that pple can fail at anypoint....i passed with 265 question and i made sure i didn't panic until i was done...it is hard but do able...welcome on board!
