    Working while in NP school?

I would think the same. I know that in the program I'm in all the students work and have families. The school is very accomidating and the majority of classes meet on mondays or tuesdays, which makes it easier to make my schedule for work. However, it is definetly easier if you work 12 hour shifts and only have to work 3-4 days a week.

    Working while in NP school?

I'm currently in a CNS/NP program and I'm able to work fulltime (12 hour shifts) and go to school. Currently I have class one day a week and 1 to 2 days a week for 15 weeks I have to do 12 hour shifts for clinicals. What I did was save some of my pto/vacation days so when I need a break I can take time off from work, and still keep my fulltime status.

dismissed from my ADN program HELP

I'm really sorry for what you are going through and I can say I understand. When I first started ADN program I didn't make the GPA cut off I got a 2.9 average not counting the fact that I was working full time at the time. My counselor told me to find another career path that I will never be a nurse. Well as you can imagine I was devistated and very upset. I cried for days. I took a semester off and applied to a different school. Well I now work in the ICU and I'm currently 4 semesters away from graduating from a CNS/NP graduate program. My advice is if nursing is really what you want, don't give up you can do anything your heart and mind is set out to do.

What # of questions did u pass the NCLEX with?

I don't think it matters how many questions. When my computer turned off at 75 questions I freaked out and wanted to continue I thought I had failed. Needless to say I was well prepared by my school and passed it.
