   The problem is that schools (especially private ones) do not "accept" students to their 30 unit programs because they want people to commit to a 2-3 RN program for 140K +. The state should put limits...

   WOW!! One!? It is all a money thing, colleges especially private ones want to charge 100K plus and commit you to a full RN 2 year program!
