About Betsy Appleton

Betsy Appleton has 10 years experience as a RN and specializes in Nurse Coaching.

Nursing is a career that I found later in life then most people. Nursing school was the hardest thing I had ever done - harder then earning a BS from Rutgers University. It took a lot of perseverance to make it through but despite many hardships and set backs, I did make it and I love being a nurse! I have found that my many and varied life experiences have prepared me well for being able to connect with nearly any kind of patient. I love teaching and I have done some form of it all of my life so educating patients came naturally to me. More recently, I pursued a certification in Nurse Coaching. This is a relatively new field and yes, I can coach other nurses but really, I can coach anyone who desires to make a change in their life. I am so excited to be started going down this different path of helping others in such a powerful way. To me, connection is everything - from taming a wild horse to dancing with another person to educating patients, it is all about connection!
