  1. I"m a Filipina in the US, in Oklahoma. I have my LPN and am trying to get my RN. I just failed my anatomy lab. We have an actual cadaver and I got test anxiety and brain fog. Now I can't retake this class until next fall and I also can't take my Microbiology or Physiology without the anatomy having been passed. I quit my Army LPN job because they would not give me time off to take this lab . I should have quit it sooner, cause my work put me behind at school. I don't know what to do now. If I take another nursing job and just wait on the college class, and then quit that job to go back to school next year, does that look bad to future employers. I'm at a school that's a subordinate to O/U school of nursing. Is this a problem for me with them, too? I'm so shaken that I don't know what to do. Please help me! Thanks.
  2. I'm a 1 year LPN, worked as a CNA several years at a VA nursining home in OK. I"ve now been working for an Army hospital for about 6 months. To be clear, I am NOT (yet) actually in the military. I'm a civilian working for the Army. I recently got my daughter here on a green card. She is 12, and it's taken 6 years to get ready for her. My bosses say That I have to sign up for some kind of medical insurance. it costs $250 per month. I don't know how to check to see if this policy covers my daughter, what it covers (for me and her) etc. My husband is 100% VA disabled and applied for me to be in ChampVA 8 months ago and they STILL have not sent my ID card! They have told us that everything medical that we pay since he applied will be reimbursed to us, and so far, that's over $2000! Will we actually get this? Is there somebody at my Army hospital who is assigned to tell me about our (supposed) insurance benefits? I"m lost and need help. I'm working my butt off at my job and also trying to handle full time RN classes at college. I greatly appreciate any advice you can offer to me. Thanks!
