About Sarina Day

Sarina Day has 12 years experience as a ASN and specializes in Critical Care; Float Pool.

I have been a Registered Nurse for over nine years. I have a BLS and ACLS certification, current through November 2023. I graduated with my ADN from the New River Community College Nursing Program in May 2013. I started my nursing career at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital (CRMH) in Roanoke, Virginia in June 2013 in a new graduate residency program in a MedSurg/Telemetry float pool. During my four year nursing career at CRMH, I advanced to specialty areas within the float pool including Mother/Baby, Pediatrics, Interventional Radiology, Oncology, Adult ICU, Pediatric ICU, and Neonatal ICU. I've spent the majority of my career working exclusively in adult ICU.

Most recently, in January 2022, I began working at BON Secours in their Tier II Float Pool. I work in five different hospitals within the Richmond, VA market, staffing adult units such as the Emergency Room, Medical/Surgical/Telemetry, Stepdown, and Critical Care. I float to a different hospital and unit on a day-to-day basis, based on the highest needs for the day.

I am currently in an RN-BSN program at James Madison University and will graduate with my BSN in May 2023.
