About Kimberly Bates

Kimberly Bates is a CNA and specializes in ADN Student 1st Semester Weatherford College.

I am a 52-year-old mother of 4 boys who has decided to finally follow my dream of being a nurse. My youngest is 12 so things I hope will be a little smoother now that my kids are mostly grown. I don't have a huge support system so I am hoping that I can find some support from some of you guys. I am in my first semester of my ADN program at Weatherford College and hopefully by Spring I will be taking my BSN courses concurrently (as long as my grades remain A's and B;s}. My interest right now is in hospice, ICU, and possible myelosuppression. I am almost positive I will add to and take away from the list as I do clinicals in various departments. Thanks for having this awesome site where all of us can receive support and in turn, support each other, I am very happy to be here.

    Congratulations!! So exciting! I think she said 40. I am going to do everything that I can do this week. I am going to try to stay as far ahead as I can. Hopefully more will join us on here.
