Pacific Union College (PUC) - LVN to RN bridge
Hi @Jboogie, Yes I am currently enrolled in the program. First day is on the 25th of January. But it is a hybrid program. You attend classes for bridge in the fall, then during Winter time you start the program. You meet every 6-7 weeks for core weeks from Sunday-Wednesday. Clinicals are every Sunday on non-core weeks. The program is 18 months long for LVN-RN.

Pacific Union College (PUC) - LVN to RN bridge
Has anyone attended the LVN to RN bridge program here? Or anyone get accepted for next cohort? I just got accepted and just wanted some advice. I've been an LVN for 15 years and it's been a long time coming. Thinking about getting back to a program is exciting and also giving me anxiety at the same time... Studying, NCPs and taking tests.

Roseman University
Hello, anyone on here apply to Roseman University ABSN/hybrid program? I am thinking of attending there however it's been over 7 years since most of my sciences have been completed. Do you know if there is a recency? TIA

Lvn to RN program
Hello. I am currently an LVN in Ca and have been for 11 years. I am taking science courses again. I am enrolled in Microbiology right now and next semester I am taking anatomy and physiology. I want to apply to a bridge by fall of 2022. Do you think that taking both A&P would be too much in one semester?

LVN
Hi, I am an LVN residing in CA. I have been applying to a bridge program here in the bay area. I have applied about 4 times and I recently found out why I was ineligible. I graduated in 2007 with a child development degree, though I was pre nursing at first. I got a C+ in Anatomy and a C in Microbiology and a B in physiology. A years later, I got my LVN. Then after a few years I decided to re-take Anatomy for a better grade at a different institution. I got a B. After a semester or two, I took Microbiology over and dropped with a "W." Due to the repeat of the 2 sciences, I was ineligible. The Dean told me I need to do an academic renewal for the courses. Unfortunately, I can't do that because I already graduated. So I am frustrated and I don't know what to do. My sciences are now expired if I want to apply at another school. The school I applied at does not have recency. If I retake the courses again, it will disqualify me to apply at the school. Those who have been in my situation, what advice would you give me? Take the courses over or go to a private school? Thanks in advance?

Pre requisites completed vs starting over
Hi, I have been an LVN for 11 years residing in CA. I’ve been trying to get into a bridge program and have been rejected every time due to it being lottery selected. Some schools require a recency of prerequisites where others don’t. My GPA is not so great. Would you rather keep trying to get in at that school or start from the beginning and re take the anatomy, physiology, and Microbiology all over again? Not very many schools accept recency either. Also is there a hybrid program where you can travel out of California that accepts LVNs to do clinicals? Thank you in advance much for your advice.
