@allipalmer sounds awesome. One question, it seems with other programs you do different clinicals (for example, maternal health)- how do you do that if you are working with one nurse the whole time? Are you exposed to only the area he/she works?

Yes- interesting- thanks! They did not say a thing about petitioning the state of Texas for whatever that's worth! @asquared20 are you applying to other Texas schools?

Just other Texas schools- Texas Tech online and Baylor and UTA- I just thought this looked like a good program- oh well...

I assume so based on her comment- this was the exact response: "At this time, we do not have clinical placement ability in the state of Texas. We are working to establish the ability to place there, but it is unlikely that will happen before 2022."

@queenrusgreat point- @asquared20- I did just hear back from Emory and they said they do not have the ability for clinical placements in Texas at this point and probably won't before 2022- just an FYI to anyone else. Thanks!

Now that this cohort has been through the Summer and fall, is anyone willing to provide insights into the program? Have you enjoyed it? What has your schedule been like for the fall? Anything else you would like to share? I have been accepted for Spring2021 and trying to decide if the cost is worth it!

@resathern I am also thinking of applying for UTA Fall 2021 as well as others- is there a page already dedicated to that? Do you know also if UTA takes Portage classes
