I noticed the scholarship offerings! Most of the programs I've looked at don't even offer scholarships. If I can get through the program with very minimal debt, I think it will be worth it despite the downsides you mentioned. I'll be applying to see what's offered. Helpful! Thank you! I'm not sure if self-teaching is common in most nursing programs, but I was hoping for the opposite. ICU and ER are my top choices at the moment, so it also hurts to hear this LOL. I will consider submitting an app and see if it's ultimately a lot cheaper than my current option. Are you able to comment on the retention rate for the program? Saw an old thread about it and that was a bit concerning. What about NCLEX pass rates?

Know of any ADN programs still accepting applications for Fall 2022 entrance? I found a couple, but I'm looking for more options. I originally planned to attend a BSN program, but I'm really worried about the debt.

I am planning on applying to the day ADN program and can't seem to find much info on it. If you know nothing about it, info about the evening program would be helpful as well.

Is anyone here familiar with Mercy College of Ohio's ADN program? Seems a bit difficult to find information, and the information I did find did not sound too promising. Wondering what your experience was in general, and whether you'd give it a thumbs up or down.

I am about to graduate with my first undergrad degree and I am currently deciding between the ABSN route and the ADN + BSN route. There is a vast amount of programs out there and have no idea how to gauge whether a program fits what I am looking for. My main concern, aside from costs, is finding a program that has enough resources and local linkages to train their graduates for the competitive job market. As I look into the different programs, does it matter which school I attend for nursing? Or are most programs, for the most part, created equal, in the above sense?
