  1. Leaving aside the politics that seems to have become part of the conversation, I am speaking to Angel1312, I would work with the advisors at the school you went to and see if they have any contacts at the hospitals your cohort was supposed to be in. Perhaps they are aware of the situation and willing to take on the new grads they normally interview and work with in their residency programs, keeping in mind that they were the ones who did not allow the clinical hours? It is the only positive suggestion I can think of. It is a very difficult situation, and obviously it was not just you who was affected by this pandemic. Best of luck to you!

    Passed AANP Exam June 2020

Congratulations! You are probably somewhat numb like I was - but be proud of yourself and take time to reflect and absorb that you really are a FNP-C!! I used all the same products you did as well in January, I totally concur!

No Jobs For New Grads Despite RN Time?!

I’m in the same boat. Finished in December, passed boards in January, and started looking in February. I’m FNP and really getting depressed about this. Coming from the ER, there are jobs for the me as an RN, but nothing for me as a new graduate NP. I am waiting to hear back from a residency to see if I made it, but I have no other prospects at this time. May have to move to get m first year out of the way, I’m just not willing to give up completely on my dream- covid or no covid. Hope my marriage can survive this! good luck🙂
