Night diff is like an extra 3 bucks per hour. They have a whole chart about how much the paying rate goes up the longer you stay, but it's a little confusing. It's more or less about an extra 4k a every year.

Not sure if you're still interested, as this post is about 1 year old by now. But at WMC, they offer their new grads $51ish an hour. Which amounts to a little over 100k/year

Hey Unnies, I turned to some outside paid resources to help me study. Specifically I purchased the prep book: ATI TEAS Secrets Study Guide: TEAS 6 Complete Study Manual. I also paid for a practice test on the https://atitesting.com/ website. There's also a pretty good phone app. It's called the ATI TEAS Pocket Prep. It has a free and paid premium version. I didn't pay for the upgrade, but on the free version you have access to a new practice question everyday. They give excellent feedback if you answer incorrectly. The book was around 25 dollars, and I think the practice test was around 50. They're both great resources, because the practice questions they use are formatted and asked in a way that you could expect to see on the test. I know these are difficult financial times for everyone, but I would encourage you to look at paid resources. Consider it an investment on your future. If buying and using these tools help you pass the test and get accepted into the program, you'll get your money back when you start working as a nurse. Hope this helps, good luck and stay safe.

Right?! It's like, how is knowing how to spell certain words going to make me a better nurse? Conceptually, I understand the idea of the test. But there has to be a better metric for determining who should or shouldn't be a healthcare worker. I heard Joan mention 39 students for this class as well, which I think makes it the largest nursing class in history. Hopefully that plays in our favor for getting accepted.

I'm surprised how poorly I did on the english section. Some of the questions were seemed silly. There was one question that literally asked us to spell: recommend. (<- my phone autocorrected that for me) I got an 81, so I'm not sure if that's enough to get in the program. I heard in 2018, they actually accepted two students with scores under 75 because it was a down year for the averages My score is frustrating because what happens now is out of my control. It's like- I didn't do BAD, so I can't automatically assume I'm out. But I also didn't do so well that I can expect to get in. My admission is going to almost entirely depend on how many people did worse than me.
