I think they were saying that we were emailed about interviews. I was told at interviews that we would receive an email (to the email we used to apply) with the acceptance/rejection decisions between Christmas and 1st week of January.

I honestly don't know. I feel that the interviewers didn't give much away, they reacted to every question/person the same.

Yeah I literally think about Stony Brook 100x a day lmao.... so the next few weeks is going to stink.... but from what I have seen/heard in past cycles rejections are sent out first (during the first week or two of December), alternate/wait list seat...

Question for current or previous ABSN students. How does the ABSN winter break work? Do we have off the same undergraduate winter break as any other program?? Are there clinicals during winter break??

Has anyone else that applied to the Summer 2020 session recieved an acceptance letter??

When I was at my interview last week one woman said 8 weeks from the start of interviews (which winds up being the week of Christmas) but another woman said first week of January... so probably some time between then.

I don't know how I am going to make it through the next 8-10 weeks until acceptances/rejections go out because I can barely make it through 5 minutes without thinking about what is going to happen with SBU. No the math test is not multiple choice.

You should have plenty of time to complete everything. If math isn't your stong point I would definitely practice the things they sent in the email.

The math was 1 full page, both front and back. The exact number of problems I dont remember. And you have 25 minutes to complete it.

Is anyone scheduled to interview tomorrow at 10am?

In previous years there are typically 3 waves... I feel like it will probably be the same but with the new program director, it's not garunteed. In terms of whether the different waves mean anything, I am not sure... it could just be to keep certain ...

Don't give up hope!! In previous years, interview invites have gone out in multiple waves!! Go luck!! Fingers are crossed for you!! Scheduled my interview for Thursday the 31st at 10:00am. Anyone else register for the same time slot??

Also, I have been doing some research and it seems that the first wave of interview invites were sent the Friday after Columbus day... so it seems that we may not hear anything until this Friday 10.18... so I am going to try not to stress until then ...

From what I have noticed in past cycles, interviews are sent out after Columbus Day weekend. Which means the first round of interviews should be sent next week.
