  1. If I already verbally accepted a residency position at MC Plano, do you think it’s legally binding? Or is the contract not official until I electronically sign something? Not really crazy about the whole contract thing, but the unit I got offered is something I don’t want to pass up.
  2. Thanks so much! I just now registered for it ? hopefully it helps a bit
  3. Hi y’all! A little late to this thread, but I recently accepted an offer from Medical City Plano. They offered me $29.25/hr base!
  4. Hello! Yes, I am in my final semester of nursing school. I’ll definitely buy UWorld and buy a used Saunders book. Thank you for your feedback! I heard Mark Klimek is a great source, I’ll check out his content. Thank you so much!
  5. Hey y’all! For those of you that have passed the NCLEX already, what sources did you use to study? I take my NCLEX in June and would like to start studying now to get ahead. Thanks!
  6. Yes true I personally know people that didn't get in until their second or third time applying. Don't give up!!! Where else do you plan on applying?
  7. Ugh that sucks you scored so differently the second time. I would recommend just retaking it if you don't get in this time! Just take time to really study and retain the information so you can score above the 60's. I downloaded the ATI TEAS Pocket Prep a couple weeks ago and it's been helping me a lot with the science section. Do you know when the deadline for Spring 2021 is?
  8. Hey sorry for the late reply, but I got a 76 I believe. I got A's and B's on all the sections except for Science, which I got a 55. ? I've been studying a lot though, and I plan on retaking it in late January.
  9. It’s alright, I haven’t given up yet. I have a 3.75 GPA, but I need to retake my TEAS and I’ll be reapplying for Spring 2021! Also I got the rejection letter through email. Before I got my rejection letter though, my status on MyStar said “No Data Available” or something like that.
  10. I got my rejection letter on Tuesday:(
  11. I think I just got rejected this morning. My status changed from “Complete” to “No Application Data Found”. ? Oh well there’s always the Fall or Spring. Congrats to everyone that got accepted!
  12. Hey y'all! I'm making this thread for anyone applying for the Fall 2020 BSN application cycle at UTPB. ?
  13. Hey Ashley, congrats on your acceptance! Do you mind sharing your stats?
  14. Hey y’all! Still haven’t heard anything yet either, my application still says “complete”. I called Admissions on Wednesday and they said that we should be hearing back by Thanksgiving at the latest. So I guess now it’s just a waiting game.
