Okay finally opened the letter! So it is a letter telling me I’m ineligible to apply, but not for the reading. A little bummed, but I feel better knowing already!

I haven’t been able to open the letter, but from previous semesters it looks like they also send letters to applicants who weren’t qualified which could be the case for me for the reading requirement! Again, will update later

I live in Garden Grove! My mail usually comes in around 5, but I’m working today and won’t be able to check until later, will update when I get home

Well according to their website, last semester the cut off was 76! So I’d say your chances are pretty good ? November seems so far away!

@DaniJay Looking at past posts, it seems like Saddleback has a higher NCLEX pass rate, but both GWC and Saddleback have great programs! I work with a nurse who graduated from Saddleback and she loved it. I don't think you can go wrong with either one...

@aunienurse based on previous application cycles, from what I understand is that it’s the alternates for the alternates. Alternates with a number will be given spots that open up first and if they run out of alternates with a number then they’ll take...

Last year it looks like they received their letters the first week of October! So maybe 2-3 more weeks?

Well I calculated about 79 points and I was looking at past cohorts and the cutoff was about 80-81 but I figured it doesn't hurt to try anyway!
