@bubups The two main tips i Can recommend for you to increase your chance of landing an interview are: 1. Apply AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Know what day the app opens, wake up early, and refresh your browser every 30 min until they open the application. Pr...

@nureseeeeb i know waiting is the worst part?but they usually take so long to send rejections bc if someone they offer the job to ends up declining, they are still able to reach out to fill the spot

Also a very important tip I didn’t mention above about getting past HR to the interview phase: APPLY EARLY. Apply as early as absolutely possibly. If you can create your account beforehand so it’s ready to just submit when the app opens, do it. Even ...

@Chaosmyth The most important thing about your resume is what’s on it. I’ve been getting good response from perinatal units because I have 17 months experience in them specifically. For all jobs I’ve applied to that weren’t perinatal, I was never off...

For those of you that were called and offered a position, has HR sent any paperwork? My manager told me they’d email me the official offer and terms but she called last Wednesday and I still haven’t received anything.

HR called me a week or two ago for a brief phone interview and then offered an interview in person with the unit managers at holly cross mission hills perinatal unit. The interview is this upcoming wednesday. Good luck to you all!

@juleslb true, LA is expensive all over. My family lives in Santa Clarita but I really don't want to commute that far. I'm thinking the Valley might be a more reasonable drive and price. The only downside is I'd have to drive the horrible 405.

@juleslb Oh gotcha, must have been someone else then. Well I'm looking forward to meeting you and everyone else. Do you know where you're going to move to? Westwood is super expensive! Idk where I should look to live!

@juleslb Congrats! I'm curious if you are the person I met when I was waiting for my second interview. Was your second interview at 1230 on Wednesday the 29th?

@sweets77 I interviewed with perinatal and had 2 people interview me the first time and 3 different people interview me the second time. The first one I felt was more casual, getting to know me, why I chose nursing and perinatal. The second one seeme...

Just offered a position at RR in perinatal! Never received the reference check but maybe that’s because I included 4 letters of recommendation in my portfolio.

Was anyone told about a second interview? At the end of my perinatal interview, they asked me about availability next week for possibly a second interview.... but I didn't get an official phone call or email so far.
Hey fellow nurses! UCLA's application is up for their new grad nurse residency. Let's keep each other updated! I applied to ED and perinatal, what about you? And how strange was that talent assessment? I felt like so many of those questions would be ...

I applied to ED first choice but shot myself in the foot from the start. I got my denial email this week and it's probably bc I didn't check the box that asked if I had 90 hours preceptorship in ED. But to be fair the Sharp website had 2 different re...
