I need some real advice/ help from my fellow nurses... I am coming to this site for advise on passing the NCLEX, I have taken it twice and did not pass both times. So please only respond if you have failed before and finally passed, I would really appreciate it. So the first time I studied I used Hurst Videos/ worksheet packet and UWorld (everyone on this site has sown by it). On Uworld I did not completed the Qbank (had about 200 questions remaining) my performance stat was at 42% and on the final assessment I scored a 53% with a "high chance of passing". While studying I took notes on every single question right or wrong. Now, looking back I understand how my performance level was low and I tried new ways of studying and really tried not to focus on content but on how to answer the questions! So then it was time to take my exam a second time, I listened to the Mark Kilemik audios and took notes, which was very helpful on answering questions. I took another shot at UWorld and completed the whole Qbank getting 53% on my performance stat and lastly passed the final assessment exam with a 67% (85th percentile) with a "very high chance of passing". Again, while studying I took notes on every single question right or wrong. As you can see my scores greatly increased the second time around. But when it came to the exam I had 170 questions, many prioritization, SATA ect but ended up still not passing :-( When I received the results all it said was near passing on all subjects except two were below passing level. Now as I begin studying for a 3rd time. I need advice on what I should do different. I was thinking of possibly switching to Kaplan... ugh but if I stay on UWorld I can see if my scores improve again. I really do not know what I am missing in order to pass this test, but whatever it is I am willing to do it, learn it, work for it because all I want to do is start my career as a nurse already. This has been a stressful struggle and I am ready to do whatever it takes!!! Please help
