I had the same question. You can transfer your TEAS score but it can’t be a year old, otherwise, you’ll have to retake it. Your score is great by the way. I have applied and waiting for a response. I was told I should hear something by February....

Has anyone applied to the evening/weekend nursing program at Monroe college?
  3. What is the process to applying to the nursing program at Monroe College?

Currently Monroe have a few options for the RN program

RN to BSN part-time, traditional, progressive (which is from PN to RN to BSN)

The minimum requirements for the program is

      • Teas with a score of proficient or higher
      • high school transcripts 75% grade point average or better
      •  C+ or better in algebra, biology/ living environment, and chemistry ( these can be either high school or college)
      • college transcript 2.75 GPA or higher
      • 2 letters of recommendations.

As far as the process goes, set up an appointment for an info session where you can bring in all your douments. You will meet with a counselor and they will review them and give you a checklist of what is required and what is missing. You can then decide if the program is something you want to do. If it is you can go ahead and submit an application online along with the requested essay. (I personally think you should go ahead and apply before the info session because if you go and have majority of the documents they will submit your name to be called for an interview and wait on the other, depending on what they are)

Thank you.  I’ve already applied, I’m just waiting to get a call back for an interview.  I was wondering how long it takes and what the competency test entailed?
