  1. That makes sense! I am just wondering if it's possible to get a temp license before I write the NCLEX or while my application is processing? I don't really know how it all works.
  2. I have a green card so am already qualified to work in the US!
  3. Hi everyone!! I recently graduated from a compressed nursing program in Ontario and my goal is to work become licensed and work in Michigan. My current plan is to write the NCLEX and apply for an Ontario license, then submit this along with my transcript to the Michigan BON in order to register in Michigan. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience doing this (especially as a new grad with 0 RN experience), if anyone had difficulty doing this, and what I can expect timeline wise. I'm also curious if it is possible to work under a temporary license in Michigan as a Canadian nursing graduate, or with a Canadian nursing license, while I wait for my paperwork to process. Thanks!
