  1. University of Rochester ABPNN 2019

I just called and the front desk lady told me that decisions are going out end of this week/beginning of next week.
  2. University of Rochester ABPNN 2019

I just called last week myself, so I also don't want to be that person who keeps calling! haha if only they didn't ask my name every time I called, then I could call a million times!
  3. University of Rochester ABPNN 2019

Has anyone talked to admissions and found out the date they will be making their decisions? I believe they usually have a big meeting with all decision making people where they do their last go through of the people they want to admit, and then they ...
  4. University of Rochester ABPNN 2019

oh sorry. That's government loans that I was talking about. So that's....however the government decides such things. I honestly have no idea!
  5. University of Rochester ABPNN 2019

Based on what I've heard - the deposit is $1000 and they require it within a few weeks after the acceptance letters go out. And when I spoke to financial aid, he told me that it is $12500 per year max for this program - working out to be $4100 per se...
  6. University of Rochester ABPNN 2019

If you end up hearing something, let us know! I'm trying to be super patient, but we'll see how long that lasts once the end of September arrives.
  7. University of Rochester ABPNN 2019

You're not alone! I'm definitely nervous and ready to hear and check this most days too!
  8. The time spent depended on the class for me. Like stats, I probably spent about 1 1/2 -2 hours per module. I think there were 13 modules for that class. Nutrition, I maybe spent a half hour at most. For that class, I would glance at the powerpoint, a...
  9. I called yesterday and was told that the class is full for the fall. She said it's unlikely that we will be called for September, but still possible up until the 4th. I reapplied for the January start though, how about you?
  10. Micro was the 1 prereq that I didn't take online. I took that back when I was in school for my bachelors. I've heard from other people that micro is the hardest of the prereqs, but I can't speak from personal experience on that. I had the most troubl...
  11. Currently the prereqs are $1150 per class. I work at the UR so I had a tuition benefit that helped pay for the classes, otherwise I'm not sure if I would have taken them here or at the local community college. Also, I don't know how they choose their...
  12. I took most of my prereqs through the UR online classes recommended on the SON website. I did 2 a semester, and I thought they were great because you can do them at your own pace. I did one class in its entirety, and then I would start the next class...
  13. I just talked to admissions and they said they haven't called anyone off the waitlist yet, but that it's definitely still open until the beginning of school because they're waiting for people to commit and to get their financial aid in order. So i th...
  14. ughh still haven't heard anything. I'm feeling pretty bummed! Anyone talk to admissions this week?
  15. I was looking through a bunch of the older forums, and it looks like a lot of the waitlist people started to hear around 4-5 weeks before classes started for that semester. I'm trying to be optimistic that maybe we'll get calls next week, as that wil...
  16. also, I figure there's no way ever single person who was offered a spot accepted it, so they've got to at least have a few open spots for september, but just haven't gotten around to calling the waitlist people yet.
  17. Thanks for talking to them! I'm really hoping that they have a bunch of open spots and just haven't started offering them yet.
  18. I've been assuming that they haven't started calling people on the waitlist. I suppose it's possible though that they've offered all the open spots. I just thought they hadn't called anyone because they have been taking longer than anticipated to mak...
  19. University of Rochester ABPNN 2019

They just let the september 2018 applicants know a few weeks ago. So expect to wait for a million years, and then wait more.
  20. Nothing here yet! I know the people who were originally offered spots were supposed to say yes or no by this week. I've also been looking at the facebook group created for the class, and it only has 24 members currently, so I'm hoping that means ther...
  21. Anyone gotten called off the waitlist yet?
  22. I ended up having them mail it to me (I was off a few days last week). We have until mid July to fill them out and get them back in.
  23. I got my waitlist letter yesterday in case anyone is waiting! They should be on their way.
  24. She told me I could pick up my form in person once the form is ready, and yes the UR does accept people who work at UR, but it's not an automatic thing. I'm on the waitlist.
  25. I work at UR and asked her if I could pick up my form at the admissions office, but she said they weren't ready yet. So hopefully soon?
