Was this for the spring semester coming up? For the fall semester at LACC I started at #18 alternate and ended at #1. By then I had my sights on the next semester and wasn't wanted to stress and spend $200 for a 'maybe' spot. They only gave me a week...

My friend goes too and was notified in November. I'm thinking we need to just call because I'm sure it's a little different every year.

Wasn't given a number, just that I was in. I'm sure they'll be contacting the alternates as soon as people start declining. Not sure if they'll wait until the response deadline or not.

Yes a friend of mine still has a prereq in progress and got in. I'm waitlisted and have 3.8 GPA prereqs (4.0 science) and 300 hours volunteer experience with COPE. Hopefully I'll get to join the ranks of those accepted!

I'm #2. I'm trying to remain hopeful, but I'm not feeling confident. Got accepted elsewhere today tho, so that's a relief.

I think they'll send more info once the cohort is finalized. We need info for the fire card and whatnot too.

I feel like the number is low because the program was on hiatus for awhile and then was only announced 1 month before the material due date. I feel like it wasn't on people's radars and with the hefty packet, people may not have been able to get ever...

What's with the descrepancies with the dates?!? And it's a horrible idea to not have a waitlist! There are bound to be people who end up going elsewhere!

On Friday they told a friend of mine 4-6 weeks. Does anyone know how many people they are planning to accept? Or how man people have been in previous cohorts?
