My interview was on a Monday afternoon and I was offered the position on Thursday afternoon. So three days after my interview!

Oh I totally understand! I did an in-person interview and I was freaking out, but as soon as the interview started I calmed down. Everyone was really nice and made me feel comfortable.

Why won't they consider you?

I've seen you post this on so many Mayo threads. Are you seeking them out to give your opinion? Mayo doesn't even use travel nurses anymore and they are offering 8$ more an hour than my local hospital. So your opinions seem antiquated.

And it says 8 hours shifts. Womp Womp. I'd prefer 12 hour shifts. What were you offered?

Okay! The position I have an interview for said part time 64 hours so that's what made me unsure. They have multiple postings for this unit so I'm hopeful that means they'll hire for full time!

Update! I have an interview at the end of January. For those of you that have been offered positions, were they full time positions? I had trouble finding postings for full time hours. Almost everything says part time 64-72 hours. Is this accurate or...

I'd love to get into the ICU because I'm currently a tech at an ER. But I'm open! What unit did you get hired into? I made my resume today! Hopefully will be applying soon. Do you have any thoughts/advice on landing a job at Mayo?
