    Capella RN-BSN-MSN flexpath experience?

Hi! I am currently enrolled in BSN Flexpath program, I have 3.5 classes to go until graduation! With Flexpath, textbooks are not mandatory. They give you all of the resources you need within the course. If I felt I could benefit from the textbook I have rented them from Amazon. Tuition is a flat rate and you are billed in 12 weeks increments. You can complete as much or as little as you want in that 12 weeks... it's the same set price whether you take 1 class or 4 in that timeframe. My employer actually has a contract with Capella where they offer a grant if you're an employee that enrolls. If it makes you feel better, I started in August just based on falling in love with Capella, and my employer didn't come in contact with Capella until January. I am planning on going for my MSN through flexpath after I graduate with my BSN.

    Capella University Flex Path

I work full-time & have a 4 and 2 year old at home so I know all about finding a good balance. Capella is extremely giving with transfer credits. I went into it only needing 11 classes coming right out of an associates program. I started this past August & have 4 remaining classes. You have 12 weeks to take your time or bust it all out! Most classes have 4 assignments while some have 5 that are mixed between APA papers, power points, & newsletter type assignments. There is no math, discussions, quizzes, and/or exams which was a HUGE plus for me with what is already a crazy life lol & the freedom to choose my own due dates & breeze through what I already know. Some classes I took almost the whole 12 weeks & others I went right through in 3-4 weeks. Feel free to ask any questions!

    RN to BSN Program: Capella

Hi! I am currently enrolled in Capella RN to BSN flexpath program! I absolutely love the program and recommend it to anyone and everyone I know that has their ADN. The price is feasible, and not outrageous for someone looking to further their knowledge. You also have the flexibility of creating your own schedule, and not having the time constraints of needing to post a discussion by this time, or respond to x amount of classmates. As well as, ample resources to utilize, especially for online learning essentially "on your own." To put it into perspective: I was a new grad in May last year, I started Capella from a community college in September with 11 classes needed... I am currently halfway through my sixth class, while working full-time nights, and spending my days home with two little ones. I definitely could be further at this point, but I have taken more time where needed, and I feel that if I was anywhere else I would be stressed and ripping my hair out. Feel free to ask me any and all questions you may have! ~ Laci
