How to become a Legal Nurse Consultant?

I have been a legal nurse consultant for many years. I work in a defense law firm. I enjoy the work. However, it's a difficult field to get into, and it's not as lucrative as some of the LNC schools tell you. You also have to be detail-oriented, have strong verbal and writing skills, and know how to use certain software, such as Microsoft Word.

    Nurse Charged With Homicide

Here's what I learned about reckless homicide from Wikipedia: Reckless homicide is a crime in which the perpetrator was aware that their act (or failure to act when there is a legal duty to act) creates significant risk of death or grievous bodily harm in the victim, but ignores the risk and continues to act (or fail to act), and a human death results. This nurse didn't deliberately administer the wrong medication. She made a terrible medication error and will live with that for the rest of her life.

How to become a Legal Nurse Consultant?

If you enroll in a program, the program will discuss marketing to attorneys and law firms. Also, there are LNC-based businesses that specialize in helping new LNCs market their services (for a fee, of course). Best of luck in your new endeavors!

    Nurse paralegal

I've been a legal nurse consultant for many years. Please check out the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants' website, (AALNC : American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants), which provides lots of information to those thinking about this profession. By the way, LNC programs offer certificates. To be certified, you must meet certain requirements above and beyond taking an LNC course just as you would for any nursing certification. Be careful! There is a lot of hype about this profession. Many nurses don't succeed as LNCs. Best of luck in your future endeavors!
