I am a student right now, and we have been having discussion lately about the importance of joining a professional organization (ANA), both statewide and countrywide. I have heard the statistics on the percentages of nurses involved in these organizations, and they seem quite low...
So my question to you all is:
What are some of your reasons for joining or not joining a professional organization?
