Did your professors talk about this and the NEED and necessity of obtaining? Have you obtained? I have heard (and thought) it's important to obtain - however, many haven't?
What is your take and have your look into to obtain this insurance. Give your insight!!

it was a requirement in my lpn program. i also bought it when i became an lpn and then rn. i think 100 bucks a year is not too bad to have the insurance.

At my program it was simple, purchase the required malpractice/liability insurance or leave the program. And the policy had to be from one of the pre-approved vendors (well established companies). Plus I got a 50% discount first year of licensure, and then if I go back for my RN the student endorsement is no charge.
