Hi I'm registered nurse in Philippines and work also in Saudi Arabia. I'm here right now in Montreal Quebec as live in care giver .. I'm planning to transfer in Alberta. Can you please give me the contact number of organization that will asses my study? Is RN nurses a lot of hiring jobs? How much is the salary for RN jobs? What steps should I undergo to be registerd nurse in Alberta ? Please I need your reply thanks for helping ...
Please take the time to read the Canadian forum and about the difficulty for jobs unless looking to go to rural Alberta but until you have eligibility to sit CRNE which as an IEN can take over 12 months and some form of assessment I wouldn't rush to move to Alberta
Moved to a thread on it's own
Suggest also reading this as changing happening later this year in the application process College & Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta - CARNA
Alberta is not the land of opportunity for nurses. You'd be better off in Saudi Arabia if you want to continue your nursing career
Thanks for the reply I highly appreciated
So I will take CRNE first theng Eilts exam? How much is the passing for English exam?
How about to become nurse in schawtoon is thier a big chances their? I because I really want to pursue my profession. And I don't like here in Montreal because I need to take French language.
There are no big chances anywhere. Where is Schawtoon?
You will not get eligibility to sit CRNE without English exam pass as that is part of the application process
Hi I am an Australian Neonatal Registered Nurse/Midwife in the process of application to Alberta. They are currently waiting on my transcripts from my University, they have recieved documentation from the Nursing Regulatory Body in Australia. I have found CARNA to be been very prompt in the application process. Does anyone have any advice for me? Some piece of mind would be wonderful as I have read some discouraging stories but these aren't from anyone applying from Australia. Some positive feedback would be wonderful!
Tamaralee88. Sorry I don't have the answer to your question but I was thinking Australia is better, or pls can you tell me y u think Canada is better. Pls enlighten me on nursing in australia
I think you should study Canadian geography and English.
I believe you are referring to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
