You'll get in with a 29. You just missed the cutoff last semester. :)
And as far as orientations and stuff, when you get accepted, you are pretty much at their whim. They give you 3 dates that are mandatory for advisement and orientation and if you can't make one of them, you may kindly reapply for the following semester, as they told my group.
ya you get a small break here and there but for the most part you cant really leave and if it goes how it did last semester then u get a number and will get your assigned schedule for the semester so be prepared they had preset schedules on the wall (part time and full) and u wrote down #'s and when ur # was called u picked from what was available so u want a low number!
Hello, I applied also for the Part Time program. Does anyone know what the cut off was pertaining to the points?Or if you got accepted to the Part Time program, what were your points?
I got in the CSN part time program with 28 points. I think you may have to call the Nursing office to actually get the cut off scores for the program. By reading all the posts, it seems that the points range from 28-30 for the part time program. They only select 24 students... Maybe someone will reject their acceptance and an alternate picks up the spot...I also got accepted at NSC for the part time program but decided to just stick with CSN because of its reputation....so an alternate will pick up my NSC part time spot....

I applied for the third time to CSN for Fall 2010, and have been hearing they will call the last week of this month. I was just wondering what happens from there if you are accepted? I am going to be out of town for the whole end of this month and I don't want to miss anything like orientations, paperwork, drug screen, etc. Can someone who has been thru the program or in it now tell me how it works after you are accepted? This is all saying i DO get accepted...I am optimistic this time as I have a 29 this time and before i applied with 13 and then 24. But you never know, maybe everyone applied with exceptionally high scores. Just trying to prepare so if I'm accepted I am able to be there for everything I need to be there for.
