Probally A Silly Question

Yes, I've heard that there are no silly questions in life. However, I have actually witnessed situations that render this little proverb untrue. So here I go.... asking the question..... I'm from the U.S. and over here the nurses uniform consists of scrub shirts and pants. Well, I was wondering, in the UK do nurses also wear pants or do they wear the traditional dresses and stockings? Do you have an option of choosing which you perfer to wear? Thanks everybody!! Oh, and if my question is silly, just laugh! Humor does the body good!! :rotfl:

When i was a student midwife all they provided us with was white polo shirts, nothing else.

Can you imagine how unsuitable the white t.shirts were during a birth especially if the birth contained meconium!!!

We had to pay for our own navy blue trousers
