Prior Service Army Returning as an RN?

Has anyone or does anyone know someone who has left the AD Army as an officer in a basic branch and come back in as an Army Nurse? The FNEP program doesn't fit what I want to do, but I'd like to return to the service if possible. Thanks for any advice anyone has!

I didnt mean to insinuate only a few slots, only that we put a few Reserve RNs on Active Duty. Last year there were 100 Active Duty Nursing slots available. I presume that it will be the same this year.

Really?? Because I heard that only 50 got in! Is there any reason to think that I wouldn't be in one of those 100, especially since there is a new requirement for a minimum of two years nursing experience?

Not sure about the 50. I was told there was 100. Personally, I think you have a great shot at getting in. But, thats just me : )
