Previous health care experience

I just applied at OHSU BSN program. I am currently a medical assistant for an orthopedic surgeon group, I have a 3.8 gpa. Does previous health care experience at all better my chances of getting accepted? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I think it is really sad that they don't take the MA program credits. I did this program and the A&P we did is almost the same as what I am going to do int school this fall. It seems to me that the only difference *according to my book* is that we will go deeper into tissue and cellular make-up. But the rest we had to know. I learned all the bones and muscles and body organs and all that. Oh well, at least it will give me a heads up on my class work.

i've heard that there are diferent a&p for different classes, the school i am going to, OTA has diferent A&P then RN
