Prereqs For Maricopa Community LPN

Does anyone know what the prerequisites are for the LPN program? I know you need to be a CNA first but are there other classes? I am going to probably attend Gateway. Also has anyone attended the LPN classes in the summer? Do they ever offer them? TIA:loveya:

Did either of you guys get in yet?? If so what block are you in?

Glina is starting in the Aug 2009 ( This falls program- WTG and congrats again! ) and momto2lilgirls is currently in the night program of the spring 09 semester- Block 1 !

I'm in the day program at Gateway Block 1- 7 weeks left!!!

The LPN application deadline is coming up. I heard that this is based on a lottery system. So no matter when or what day you turn in your application, you have the same chance as anyone. Is this true? I also heard that leftover apps from last semester are given spots first. Let me know what your experience was.

I hope not, I thought they told us that the program runs off of the top NET scores? Either way, it seems to change more often than I can keep up with.

Anyone have any insight to which program would be preferable? MSC or Gateway? I like the tuition at Gateway....alot more affordable. But, I will still need to get my CNA.....would love to hear opinions.....
