Prereq classes - Online Microbiology?

I have been surfing this site for some time and have seen many helpful responses about taking prereqs online, i.e. Micro (AHHHHHH!). However every school around me that I am applying to requires a FIVE unit micro course, and I haven't found a school that offers micro online that is more than 4 units.

Anybody know of any?

You can try ocean county community college...I don't remember how many credits it was. They are a little pricey for out of state though :(

Just FYI...check with the nursing program of your choice before doing this because many schools will NOT accept microbiology without a lab.....my school would not accept online microbiology.....

Very true, of all the programs I am aware of require a microbiology lab also which is why most likely you are having difficulty locating one with a 5 credit. I know ours was 3 for theory class and 2 for lab = 5. I'm not sure you'll find anyway around that one. Also I think laboratory is an important part for microbiology as once you are in the field it's important to be familar with how things are performed.

Checked the Ocean CC course. While it includes a lab, it is only 4 units.
