The two schools I'd like to apply to in November for the BSN nursing program, and even though they are sister schools they require two different entrance exams to apply. The first school requires applicants to take the TEAS V (or VI) now that there's a new version out, and the second school requires applicants to take the Hesi A2 entrance exam. I have ordered the study package for the TEAS and the Hesi A2 study guide, so they should be arriving this next week some time. Has anyone studied for both of these exams at the same time? What is your experience with studying these two tests together and retaining the information for each. If I had to choose which to study for first I'd probably get the TEAS out of the way first before prepping and taking the Hesi. I'm afraid if I prep/study for both at one time I may get confused, or mix up the information for each test. I COULD wait until I take one test to start studying for the other, but I was hoping to take them close together so I could get my nursing school application in right when they open for applications. Thank you in advanced for any advice.
I posted this before in the TEAS prep forum here on allnurses and didn't get any responses. Anyone have any advice for me here?

The TEAS and HESI are both similar, some say the HESI is harder though. I'm not entirely sure but I took the HESI. I used the HESI A2 app to study about three days in advance. Some questions on the app were on the actual exam. People say it's beneficial to take chem and anatomy before taking the exam but 1) it depends on whether your school requires you to take the anatomy section and 2) I didn't take either one before taking the test. I literally just used that app to study and I got an 85.
