Preparing for NCLEX-PN...any advice?

Published

So I graduated December 1, 2015 and am scheduled to take the NCLEX-PN on January 23, 2016. In school I did pretty well and finished with an 80% on the ATI predictor (98% chance of passing NCLEX on the first try.) Currently I am reviewing with ATI, NCLEX mastery, and exam cram. My concerns are that with exam cram, when I take the test at the end of every chapter I'm only getting 50%-60% right. With ATI I generally get 70s and with NCLEX mastery I have a overall of 61%. I am also using flashcards on EKG readings and treatment, drugs and their common side effects, and I made flash cards based off the exam cram sheet. My questions for you guys is how were you doing on these study materials and do you have any advice on how I can improve? Also, did you feel the NCLEX questions were harder or easier than the ones on exam cram and ATI?

I'm using pn mastery app as well. They say around 65% is what people who generally pass make. I follow them on Facebook and I see where they reply to that question. I have taken them all but cardiac and pharm are my lowest. At my school for LPN we barely went over cardic. Just the rhythms mostly..hope that helps! And I just keep taking them over and over. In school I had about and 80% on ati but after taking a bunch of questions like the app and ones I found online I did better with ati. I still haven't taken nclex but I will soon. Sorry for the book I just wrote. Haha
