Preparing for the day that will change our life!!!

Hi everyone !!!

A happy new year to all of you!! just wanna start this thread for all who are awaiting the first day of nursing school for spring 09.

mine starts on 01/14/09. a few days away wow!!! can't beleive it.

hOW are your preparations going??? shots, physical,books,uniforms etc etc-- still need to get a little done my books and unuform.

share your excitement here while we wait. congrats all of you STUDENT NURSES.

i went through so much enxiety, in fact i barely slept the week before class started!

it is worth it! it is cool, it is chalenging!!!

get some highlighters (i got 2 collors) one for important things, and another for possible exam questions!

get organized with your notes, a binder will help!

and try doing some pre-reading on the first chapters! skim them so you can get an overview of what you are going to be doing!

school starts for my on Jan 26! Starting to get really nervous, but really excited. Seemed like this day would never come. Congrats to everyone who is starting their new life journey just like me! :yeah:
