  1. shameful !! Know what? I would'nt even worry about her, because i'm a nurse tech, not even done with school yet, and whenever some nurses beg me to show them how to perform a skill on a patient something they should have known to do already, that can be a result of cheating their way out in nursing school . they don't even know how to use the vital signs machines, bed pan, etc such shameful, lazy professionals, don't worry about her, it will come back to haunt her in her career, another lazy nurse on the loose, its really frightening because those that cheat cannot perform well on the floor on their own. even the patient can tell when a nurse is no good and staff members gossip about them. she will be caught soon trust me, don't be the one to report her, god will reveal her soon. lazy nurses make the work harder for others.
  2. HAPPY B/DAY C SANTOS!!!!!!! we all love you here, stop worrying about those that forgot you and know that there are a lot of others who value you on this forum, you are our brother and we love ya. Hey!! remember you made it into nursing school and you will be a good nurse, that is a great blessing, some may never do as good as you. you are blessed enough to be stressing over some relatives who are seemingly selfish like some of mine are too. If you were doing some bad stuff they may have remembered to call you though. sometimes people are just jealous, because they think that others have it all good, while they do not. l but, lift your head up ,shake that off and continue to treat them nicely, call them on their b/ days, you will be the better person and god will bless you and things will always work out for you. God loves you and so do we at all nurses .com. happpyyyy birthday friend!!!!!!!!!!!! enjoy every hour of it.

A happy new year to all of you!! just wanna start this thread for all who are awaiting the first day of nursing school for spring 09. mine starts on 01/14/09. a few days away wow!!! can't beleive it. hOW are your preparations going??? shots, physical, books, uniforms etc etc-- still need to get a little done my books and unuform. share your excitement here while we wait. congrats all of you STUDENT NURSES.
  4. Thanks for your encouraging words c santos!!! hmm- I think i will be accepted based on what you mentioned, I do not have any C for any pre-reqs-- all A & B's -- MOST; A's in my sciences maths and english. I scored above 75 on the hesitest also. so i trust that i'm in. thank you very much for always assisting others. you will do well yourself!!!
  5. HI sunray! I know it sounds confusing , but that's how it is. my school sends out a certain number of acceptance letters base on gpa above 2.5. after which you are still required to do the hesitest test, and then they still choose a certain number depends on the composite score. so that is the final acceptance letter--- is it clearer now? as for me i have all my pre reqs done, but my question is; do you think that schools look at gpa or the score on the hesi entrance exam or both? I am anxiously awaiting a reply
  6. hey everyone!!! I am anxiously awaiting a reply from my school to know if i'm in or not. I've received an acceptance letter based on my GPA(3.519), completion of pre-reqs, recommendations, essay quality etc. with this i had to take the hesitest which i also did a few days ago, and passed. does anyone think that official acceptance depends on gpa or the entrance test score, or yet, a combination of both. what do you think they are looking for? Further, what about experience in the field? share your experiences while we wait.
