The best way to find out would be to talk to the school as each individual school sets their own requirements for standing and what credits they accept. I transferred in as a Sophomore at mine while another school only gave me Freshman standing due to the way the curriculum was laid out and which of my credits transferred.
I am a Senior in Nursing. My clinicals started during Sophomore year for a total of 3 years. Some schools in the area start later or earlier. One of the ADN programs I had looked at started them their very first semester for a total of 2 years. Some of the other BSN programs don't start until Junior year.
It depends on the school and nursing program. When I transferred, I was considered a junior because I had over 60 credits; however, I couldn't begin the clinical program yet because I still had outstanding pre-requisites and because the nursing program was brand new and wouldn't actually begin its first cohort until the following year. I began the actual nursing program in Fall 2013 and clinical didn't start for me until 8 weeks into the semester.

hello everyone,
I have a question for those who are in nursing or going to nursing. If i have 60+credits including the prerequisites for nursing and I transfer. will i be starting clinicals right away which gives me junior status. ?
