Prenursing major not having good grades to apply to nursing .

Hello everyone, I'm a prenursing major but my Prerequisite grades arent the best. I don't have many classes left for ADN or BSN. I have 6 withdrawals and two Ds, 3fs and three Cs. I have retake these classes that I made a F in ( chemistry 1151 I made C statisticsi made A and research I made A. The classes I made a D in I retaked or religion D ( currently taking this semester sociology I made a A. Classes I made a c in A&P lab, critical thinking. Everything I have took first I have made either As or Bs first chance. So my question do you think I have mess up to bad to apply to nursing program. I'm currently studying for teas exam. I'm currently at prenursing studen Georgia state university. I'm also a student Georgia military college. I only have A&P 2, public speaking, microbiology and chemistry 1152 left. I have couple school I want to apply to but scare I want get accepted Mercer university, Augusta state university, Clayton state university,and couple more. Please share if any of you have experience this. I'm bout to go crazy

Is English your second language? Some of your post is difficult to follow with grammatical errors. Ds will not be competitive enough, but if I am following you and you have retaken those courses and passed then apply. Personally, I had Cs in A&P I & II which was good considering I was dealing with 4 small kids. I did not retake them and it did not hold me back. I studied A&P on the side more thoroughly myself and made my way through to the DNP. You will need to have a firm grasp of A&P especially if an ADN isn't your stopping point. Good luck

Make appointments to speak to nursing department counselors at each of the schools you are considering. Based upon what they advise you, start applying. If you are not accepted, take your next steps. Reapply next term, or broaden your list of potential programs and keep applying until you find a nursing school that will admit you. If, after a reasonable time, you have not gained admission, consider whether you should attend an LPN program and gain entry to an LPN to RN program. With persistence, you should be able to reach your goal.

To be honest, I had a really hard time following your post. It really depends on the program and the applicant pool. I agree with a previous post about speaking with a counselor because they have a better idea of the admission statistics. I would also look into seeing why you earned the grades you did to prevent from doing poorly. Some programs, the number of attempts in a course will count against you. Good luck
